We inform you that we are committed to respecting the privacy of users and the secrecy and security of your personal data, in compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation), as well as the Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and guarantee of digital rights. 2. What data do we process about you?

The data that we will process about you will only be the data that you provide to us when you complete the registration form, which may include:
Identification data: Name, surname, e-mail, country, language, address, cell phone, as well as your image, voice and/or the messages that you will be able to put in the chat of the event, since it will be recorded.
Employment data: Company and position within the company.

3. How do we collect and where does your data come from?

The data we process are those that you provide directly to us by completing the registration application form for the Telefónica Tech event and/or activity in question.
Remember that the personal information you provide directly must always be real, truthful, and up to date.

4. Why and what do we use your data for?

We inform you that Telefónica Tech may process your data for the following purposes, as well as, where appropriate, those additional purposes that you yourself consent or authorize at any given time:

Event management:We need to process your data to manage your application for registration to the corresponding event or activity and, where appropriate, to verify your participation in the event. We may also process your personal image/voice data during the course of these events in order to make streaming recordings for subsequent dissemination, which may appear on our website or may be shared on social media or other internal and external communication channels. These recordings may be used for advertising, communication, or other similar campaigns, and may be publicly accessible to others. You agree that by attending the event you consent to the taking of still images such as photographs, the recording of videos with your image and/or voice, as well as their reproduction and/or publication and dissemination in the terms indicated in the preceding paragraph, assigning to Telefónica Tech, without geographical limitation (worldwide via Internet) or time, the economic rights of image that may correspond to it in this regard, and waiving the right to receive retribution for the use of your image.

Sending informative and/or commercial communications: If you also authorize us to do so by ticking the corresponding box(es) on the data collection form, Telefónica Tech will process your data to send you information and commercial communications, including by electronic means, about Telefónica Tech products and services associated with areas such as the Internet of Things, Big Data, Cloud, Cyber Security, Blockchain, and Artificial Intelligence that may be of your interest to the address that you have indicated to us. Likewise, if you have consented, we will send you information about our activities and events of an informative or commercial nature that may be of interest to you.

The legal basis for collecting and processing the personal data described in this Privacy Policy will be your consent, which you have the right to withdraw at any time easily and free of charge, in accordance with the provisions herein.

5. How long do we keep your data?

We generally keep your data for the time necessary to fulfill the purpose(s) for which they were collected and to meet any liabilities that may arise from such purpose(s).
In any case, your data will be retained according to retention criteria or specific terms described in each processing activity of your data and, where appropriate, while you do not withdraw your consent and / or oppose their treatment. In this sense, we will make our best efforts to provide you with an automatic and simple mechanism so that you can withdraw the consent given and/or object to the processing and, in any case, we are at your disposal in the mail of exercise of rights informed in the sixth section of this Privacy Policy.

6. Who is the recipient of the data and are there any international data transfers?

In order to carry out the processing purposes described above, we may use authorized subcontractors acting for and on behalf of Telefónica Tech, as processors (e.g. EventsCase as a provider for the event registration form, other internet service providers and/or data hosting and technical support providers, email providers, other Telefónica Group companies managing the event, etc.) and contractually subject to our instructions, only for the lawful purposes described above and only for the time strictly necessary for such purposes.
When authorized subcontractors acting on behalf of Telefónica Tech or the above-mentioned recipients are located or process your data outside the European Economic Area, we will be making an international transfer of your data in accordance with the provisions of the data protection regulations. We will generally avoid international transfers and your data will be processed within the European Economic Area. In the event that international transfers are necessary, however, we will take the necessary organizational, technical and contractual measures to ensure the protection and security of your data, such as, for example, signing the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses with the authorized subcontractor or third party transferee, conducting impact assessments on the international transfer in question to assess the risk and adopt mitigation measures, encrypting data in transit or at rest, pseudo-animation of the data being transferred internationally, etc.
However, if you have expressly consented to it in the registration form, we will share your data with certain third parties that we indicate below, always for the period of time strictly necessary for this purpose. This specifically involves giving access to your data to:

7. What rights do you have as a data owner?

As a data owner, data protection regulations grant you certain rights over your data which, depending on their application, you may exercise against Telefónica Tech. The following are the details of these rights and how you can exercise them. Right of access: this is your right to ask us for details of the data we hold about you and how we process it, as well as to obtain a copy of it.
Right of rectification: this is your right to obtain the rectification of your inaccurate or erroneous data, as well as to complete those that are incomplete.
Right of deletion: this is your right to request the deletion or suppression of your data and information in certain circumstances. However, please note that there are certain occasions in which we are legally entitled to continue to retain and process your data, for example, to comply with a legal obligation to retain data.
Right of limitation: this is your right to restrict or limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances. For instance, if you apply for deletion of data, but instead of deleting it, you prefer that we block it and process it only for record-keeping purposes because you will need it later to file a complaint. It is important to note that when you exercise a right, in most cases, you must clearly specify which right you are exercising and provide a copy of a document proving your identity.

As part of our commitment and in compliance with current legislation, we have adopted the most demanding and robust security measures and technical means to prevent its loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.

9. Urther processing of data and changes to the Privacy Policy

Telefónica Tech reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time. Any such update will be made public by Telefónica Tech, in any case, with the legally required notice prior to its entry into force. It will also be communicated directly to the interested party in the event that it affects their rights or freedoms or when, for instance, the inclusion of a new processing activity requires the consent of the interested party or modifies the scope of the legitimate interest that enables the processing.
