José Cerdán Ibáñez is a “serial entrepreneur”, born in Zaragoza. He is the CEO of Telefónica Tech and, also since 2017, is the CEO of Telefónica Business Solutions Since 2007 José Cerdán has been the CEO of acens Technologies – “the Cloud hosting company”, one of the country’s leading cloud companies: telecommunications solutions for the business market and a pioneer in the development of Cloud Hosting made-to-measure solutions. Acens was sold out to Telefónica Group in 2010. In 1985, at the age of just 19, he founded the company Ei System (PC City), the biggest megastore devoted to the sale and manufacture of computing equipment in Spain. In 1999, Ei System was sold to the Dixon Group (PC City). At that time, he founded Peoplecall, a pioneer operator of Voice IP and an industry standard in the Spanish IP communications market. Since joining acens Technologies as CEO, José Cerdán has been responsible for creating an ambitious build-up strategy, which has ensured the successful growth of the biggest cloud and hosting company in Spain after several key acquisitions within the market. Along with his current post as CEO of acens Technologies, Cerdán also undertakes advisory functions for various businesses in the national and international market as well as for public and private institutions and universities. Since March 2012 he has been a member of the Group of High Level Experts chosen by the Government in order to define the development strategy for the Information Society, specifically heading questions regarding cloud technology, entrepreneurship and privacy roles. In addition to his contribution to the Spanish business and economic world, José Cerdán has pursued a number of philanthropic endeavors. Juan Campillo
Director for Future of Work and SASE Portoflio Telefonica Tech Cyber Security & Cloud
Leading the SASE, Comms & Secure Worlplace Products for Telefonica Tech, Juan takes care of the marketing, product strategy and lifecycle of the cloud networking, cloud comms and the future of workplace portfolio. His team is pushing the evolution of B2B telco services such as SDWAN or IP Voice to the cloud and their convergence with the cybersecurity capabilities of Telefonica Tech. Prior to this, Juan was the Connectivity Product Innovation Director in Telefonica, leading a team dedicated to build the next generation of products, services or digital experiences based on the next wave of network technologies: edge computing, 5G, network cloudification or future of media. In 2012 he joined Telefonica Digital team as a Product Manager in IoT. He moved later to the M&A and Corporate Venture Capital team to contribute to the inorganic development of the company in the digital space in a critical transformation moment: cybersecurity, Internet of Things, Big Data, AI, etc. through acquisitions, minority investments and JVs to support Telefonica’s growth effort. Before joining Telefonica, he was part of Accenture Strategy as a business consultant. He started his career in the trading room of Santander, one of the biggest European banks, in the middle of the 2007-2008 credit crunch that ended with the bankruptcy of Lehman Brothers. Juan has a double degree in economics and law from the Carlos III University of Madrid, studying part of those degrees in the University of Cologne, Germany, and Berkeley, California. He complemented his initial financial and management consulting skills with product marketing skills and the technical depth to lead multidisciplinary and distributed teams in high growth, high uncertainty environments.
Miguel Ángel Pérez Arjona

Miguel Angel Pérez Arjona is a telecommunications engineer from the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid, in addition to having an Executive MBA from the IE Business School and PDG from the IESE Business School. Passionate about the world of technology and digital transformation. He joined Telefónica in 2013 where he has held different management positions. Previously, he has held different responsibilities in high tech & telco companies, such as Accenture and France Telecom among others.
María Jesús Almazor
CEO Telefónica Tech Cyber Security & Cloud
Born in Barcelona, she studied Telecommunications Engineering at the UPC. She has spent her entire working life in the Telefónica Group, where she started in 1994 as a radio network optimiser at Telefónica Móviles España and in 1998 she became Head of Telefónica Móviles for the planning, design, creation and maintenance of the mobile network in Catalonia, where she led the mobile coverage deployment project. In 2006, she was appointed Director of Operations for the Northern Territory of Telefónica España, where she was responsible for the creation, provision and maintenance of Telefónica's fixed and mobile network in the autonomous communities of Galicia, Asturias, Cantabria, Basque Country, Navarra, La Rioja, Aragón and Castilla León. In 2012, she was made Territorial Director of the Southern Territory, with the main task of commercial activity in the business and residential segments of the autonomous communities of Andalusia, the Canary Islands, Extremadura and the autonomous cities of Ceuta and Melilla. In 2018, she was promoted to Chief Executive Officer of Telefónica España, being responsible for revenues as well as the operation of Telefónica España. In April 2021 she was made CEO of Telefónica Cyber & Cloud Tech, where she is leading the Telefónica group's project in the cyber security and cloud businesses.
Raquel Ruiz Lozano
Global Head of Partnerships Telefónica Tech
An expert in alliances, Raquel Ruiz leads the Partnerships team at Telefónica Tech and is in charge of the global management of the relationship with Telefónica Tech's strategic partners to accelerate and develop the business and maximize the relationship with them. Strategic alliances such as AWS, Microsoft and Google are some of the most recent achievements of her career. Raquel holds a degree in Physics, Executive MBA and Corporate Management Program from ESADE Business School. She joined Telefónica in 1999 developing most of her career in the international environment, in areas of Product Marketing and Alliances in the B2B segment, working for MNCs, SMEs and wholesale segment in Europe, USA and Latin America. She is currently a mentor in the Women and Engineering Program of the Royal Academy of Engineering with the aim of promoting the incorporation and professional development of women in the field of engineering and technology.
Hugo de los Santos
Director of Products and Services Telefónica Tech Cyber Security & Cloud
With almost 20 years of international experience in the ICT world, Hugo is the Director of Products and Services at Telefónica Cyber & Cloud Tech, with global responsibility for Product, Technology and Innovation for Cyber and Cloud. In the last year and a half he has served as Chief Cloud Businees Unit Officer and previously, for the previous four years, as Chief Product & Marketing Officer for the Enterprise segment, also with global responsibility. Previously he was the Director of Business Acceleration at Wayra, Telefónica's start-up accelerator, since its creation in 2011, where he actively participated in its foundation. Before joining Wayra, he has held different positions of responsibility in business, marketing and sales areas within the Telefónica Group, in Spain and Latin America. Hugo is a Telecommunications Engineer, postgraduate PDD (Management Development Program) from IESE Business School, University of Navarra and Entrepreneurship Network Program at Stanford University.
Gonzalo Martín-Villa

Since the announcement of The New Telefónica in November 2019, Gonzalo leads the IoT & Big Data area in Telefónica Tech. Prior to this appointment, Gonzalo has served as Telefónica’s Chief Innovation Officer leading three Verticals: Core Innovation, Open Entrepreneurship & Innovation Ventures. Gonzalo has also led Telefónica’s startup Accelerator – Wayra – as its CEO/Wayraman since the beginning in 2011, helping it become one of the top and largest technology accelerators in the world, with operations in 12 countries across 2 continents. Gonzalo has a degree in Law by the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, an LLM by Georgetown University and holds an MBA from IESE Business School – University of Navarra. Gonzalo is a passionate marathon runner.

Adrián is an experienced professional with more than seven years of implementing Business Intelligence, Big Data and, more recently, Internet of Things products and solutions. He has been focused on helping mostly industrial companies to leverage technology to digitalize processes and gather and analyze data for enabling better decision making. Currently, Adrián has joined the Strategic Projects team at Telefónica IoT & Big Data Tech helping in the definition of singular projects with relevant impact on volume, delivery complexity and/or profit.
Carmen Alonso
Head of Business Development of Financial Services, Leisure & Education Spain Telefónica Tech AI of Things
Head of Business, Sector Manager for Banking, Insurance, Leisure and Education in IOT & Big Data, Telefónica Tech. Before joining Telefónica, Carmen developed her professional career at Synergic Partners, a pioneering consultancy firm in Digital Transformation, and in the Strategy and Operations department of Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Carmen holds a degree in Industrial Organisation Engineering and Computer Engineering from the Universidad Pontificia Comillas, ICAI, in Madrid. She currently collaborates as a lecturer in the 'Management and Strategic Management of the Luxury Universe Programme' at IE, Instituto de Empresa and also in the 'Tech for Business' Programme of APD, Asociación para el Progreso de la Dirección (Association for the Progress of Management). She is also the director of the Artificial Intelligence Programme for Middle Market companies of the CRE100DO Foundation and she is the coordinator and co-author of the 'White Paper for the digitalisation of SMEs' of the Spanish Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs, CEAJE.

My name is Borja and I am the father of two small children, Pedro and Juan, and husband of Marián. I am 39 years old. I studied Telecommunications Engineering at the UPM in Madrid and an MSc in information technology from the University of Stuttgart. I started my professional career in the technical field, doing an internship in Munich, in a team where we made telemetry and telematics systems for Formula 1. Then I worked for several years in the business field, in strategic consulting, helping to design strategies and business plans for companies in various industries, including travel, construction, automotive, utilities and industry. From there I started working at Telefónica helping in the construction of the M2M and IoT areas and assuming different roles within IoT such as strategy and planning, relationship with analysts, business development and product management in the Smart Meters and Connected vehicle segments.
Francisco Gimeno
Digital Transformation & IT Leader Ferrovial Servicios Spain
Since 2019 Paco Gimeno Giménez leads the Digital Transformation and Systems area at Ferrovial Environmental Services. He has extensive experience in senior management in Systems in various companies in different sectors: he was Director of the Institute of Knowledge Engineering, an organization formed between the Autonomous University of Madrid, IBM, Banco Santander and Naturgy. Previously, for more than 10 years, he was Chief Innovation Officer (CIO) at Naturgy, where he managed the entire IT environment and infrastructure of the company. He also held the position of CIO of Santander Consumer Finance Europe and CIO of Hispamer. He was also a director of Konecta, one of the largest BPO and contact center companies in the world. Miguel Gómez Rodríguez is a Technical Product Manager for the Virtual Data Center service at Telefónica Cybersecurity and Cloud Tech. He joined the Telefónica group in 2007 and since then has held different roles in cloud computing innovation, architecture and design. Miguel has authored multiple articles and conference papers on next-generation computing infrastructure and services and is co-author of the book Creating the Infrastructure for Cloud Computing. He holds PhD and MS degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.

Shailesh Rao is the President, Global Go-To-Market for Cloud and AI security at Palo Alto Networks, with global business responsibility for the company’s Prisma Cloud (including all areas of Cloud Security including Cloud Workload Protection, Container Security, Identity and Access Management and Micro-segmentation security solutions) and Cortex (Security Operations solutions for orchestration, automation, and endpoint and network detection and response) portfolio of solutions. He has 25+ years of global business and technology experience including senior leadership roles in sales, product management, marketing, business development, operations, and strategy in a variety of cloud infrastructure and enterprise application companies.

Lizzie Cohen-Laloum is Regional Vice President for Southern Europe and Head of Carrier/MSSP for the EMEA region since 2018. Before joining Fortinet, Lizzie spent 15 years at F5 and held senior positions including Sales Director for Southern Europe before becoming Senior Vice President of Sales for the EMEA region. Before F5, Lizzie spent 10 years at Nortel Networks as International Sales Manager, where she focused on integrating regionally developed telecommunications products into Nortel's global channel program.
Ignacio Gallego

Ignacio is President of Nokia Spain and Sales Director for Spanish local operators since March 2018. In the last 15 years, he has performed different sales and account management roles in Lucent Technologies, Alcatel-Lucent and now Nokia, developing complex and multinational tier 1 accounts in the telco industry. Previously, he held different project management and project director roles in Siemens. Ignacio holds a degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (Spain), and an Executive Management Development Program (PDD) from IESE. With 27+ years of experience in the telco industry, Ignacio has a strong and solid experience in successfully building and managing multi-tiered customer relationships up to CXO level, understanding complex business and technology needs and driving the implementation of solutions to create high customer satisfaction and loyalty. For 22 years, Botifoll has been working in Cisco, occupying different leadership positions. Julio Tejedor is responsible for the Cloud Engineering and Cybersecurity Competency Centers at Telefónica Tech, with global responsibility in the different Telefónica markets. He has over 15 years of experience in the world of Information Technology and Communications. He started his career in Systems Integration at Accenture for different European operators (Proximus, Liberty Global, Swisscom). Later he joined Telefónica Spain as a Presales Engineer in several of the main customers of the group such as Banco Santander, MAPFRE. In 2018, he acquired the responsibility of leading the Cybersecurity Pre-Sales engineering area in Telefónica Spain.
Emilio Torres

Emilio Javier Torres Mateos holds a degree in Technical Engineering in Computer Systems from Castilla La Mancha University (UCLM). He co-founded Grupo Ares de Proyectos Informaticos, C.B. company until 1998, and after 2 additional years working with Polar Servicios Informaticos, S.L in different Web and Content Management projects, he was hired by Telefonica R&D in 2001. In Telefonica R&D, he was working as project manager for the creation of solutions for different companies of the Telefonica Group, IT consultant and he was also involved in Cloud Computing R&D projects of the European Seventh Framework Programme. In 2012 was promoted to technical leader of the Telefónica’s Virtual Data Center (VDC) service that combine the VMware Cloud Provider platform with in-house developments and best-of-breed third-party Value-Added Services. In 2018 was promoted as Product Manager of the VDC solutions in the Telefonica Group coordinating both business and technical activities. In 2020 was hired by Telefónica Cyber security and Cloud Tech company as Manager of the VDC and Hosting products in the different countries of the Telefónica Tech holding.

Vicente looks after Secure Workplace products and services including portfolio vision & strategy, creation of new product and leading of GTM for this family of services. Vicente brings 20 years of experience in areas of Presales, Sales and Marketing. He previously held different positions in Comunitel (Vodafone) and Telefónica such as Senior Presales Consultant and Global Account Manager for MNC customers. He has been working the last 10 years as a head of product for Unified Communications and Collaboration and Digital Workplace. He studied telecommunication engineering at the Cantabria University in Santander and Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh and hold and MBA in Business Administration from Polytechnic University of Madrid.

Snorre Kjesbu is Vice President & General Manager of Webex Devices at Cisco. He is a global citizen leading a worldwide organization responsible for the collaboration devices business ranging from IP phones to immersive video systems. Snorre’s passion for design with over 20 years of engineering experience are at the core of his belief in always providing authentic user experiences. Prior to his return to Cisco, Snorre was Executive VP of Design, Creation and Fulfillment at BANG & OLUFSEN in Copenhagen. His résumé also includes SVP at Tandberg and being responsible for R&D on wireless communication at ABB.
