Jose Cerdán

José Cerdán Ibáñez is a “serial entrepreneur”, born in Zaragoza. He is the CEO of Telefónica Tech and, also since 2017, is the CEO of Telefónica Business Solutions
Since 2007 José Cerdán has been the CEO of acens Technologies – “the Cloud hosting company”, one of the country’s leading cloud companies: telecommunications solutions for the business market and a pioneer in the development of Cloud Hosting made-to-measure solutions. Acens was sold out to Telefónica Group in 2010.
In 1985, at the age of just 19, he founded the company Ei System (PC City), the biggest megastore devoted to the sale and manufacture of computing equipment in Spain.
In 1999, Ei System was sold to the Dixon Group (PC City). At that time, he founded Peoplecall, a pioneer operator of Voice IP and an industry standard in the Spanish IP communications market.
Since joining acens Technologies as CEO, José Cerdán has been responsible for creating an ambitious build-up strategy, which has ensured the successful growth of the biggest cloud and hosting company in Spain after several key acquisitions within the market.
Along with his current post as CEO of acens Technologies, Cerdán also undertakes advisory functions for various businesses in the national and international market as well as for public and private institutions and universities.
Since March 2012 he has been a member of the Group of High Level Experts chosen by the Government in order to define the development strategy for the Information Society, specifically heading questions regarding cloud technology, entrepreneurship and privacy roles.
In addition to his contribution to the Spanish business and economic world, José Cerdán has pursued a number of philanthropic endeavors.
He is a speaker at several top ranking universities: IESE, IE, UOAC and in Summit meetings of sector companies and Startups.

María Jesús Almazor

COO Spain, Hispam, Brazil & USA Telefónica Tech

María Jesús was born in Barcelona and studied Telecommunications Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. She has developed her entire professional life in the Telefónica Group, where she started in 1994 as a radio network optimiser in the Mobile Business in Spain, and she was soon leading the mobile coverage deployment project in Catalonia. In 2006 she became Director of Operations for the Northern Territory of Telefónica Spain in 2006, where she was responsible for the creation, provision, and maintenance of Telefónica's fixed and mobile network in the region. Few years later, in 2012, she was appointed Director of the Southern Territory, before taking on the role of Chief Executive Officer of Telefónica Spain in 2018. In April 2021, she was elected CEO of Telefónica Tech Cyber Security and Cloud, where she had been leading the cyber security and cloud division of Telefónica Group’s leading technology services provider NextGen. She has recently been appointed COO (Chief Operating Oficcer) for Spain and America. Telefónica Tech has more than 6,300 professionals from +60 nationalities, with +4,000 certifications, and it has strategic presence in Spain, the UK, the DACH region, the Adriatic region, the Nordic countries, the USA, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Chile, and Mexico. It has the capacity to provide its services to 5.5 million B2B customers of the Telefónica Group, including Companies and Public Administration, as well as SMEs and SOHOs.

Juan Campillo is a seasoned cybersecurity professional and a visionary leader in the industry. As the Director of Cybersecurity and Cloud Networking at Telefonica Tech, he spearheads the strategic direction and lifecycle management of the global portfolio of cybersecurity products and services. With a strong focus on innovation, Juan leads a highly skilled team in driving advancements in Detection and Response, Vulnerability and Digital Risk Management, OT security, and SASE. His multidisciplinary knowledge and expertise in network technologies, such as edge computing, 5G, and network cloudification, enable him to seamlessly integrate security into the evolving B2B telco landscape. Notably, Juan has played a pivotal role in creating groundbreaking solutions, including the renowned NextDefense and FlexWan suites, positioning Telefonica as a leader in managed cybersecurity and networking services.
Prior to his current role, Juan served as the Connectivity Product Innovation Director at Telefonica, where he led a dynamic team in developing cutting-edge products and digital experiences. His emphasis on security convergence and his ability to leverage emerging technologies resulted in the creation of the revolutionary Internet para Todos Network as a Service company, addressing the connectivity needs of millions of unconnected individuals in Latin America. Juan's extensive career spans diverse domains, including business consulting at Accenture Strategy and experience in the banking industry. He holds a double degree in economics and law from Carlos III University of Madrid, complemented by studies at the University of Cologne, Germany, and the University of California, Berkeley. Ester Tejedor

Cyber Security Operations & Technology Director Telefónica Tech

Ester Tejedor is Director of Cybersecurity Technology and Operations at Telefónica Tech. After almost 20 years contributing value to the company, she is the head of this strategic area and leads the work of more than 1,500 professionals who manage and operate high-value cybersecurity services and solutions.
Her mission is to ensure the development, management and implementation of security projects for Telefónica Group customers with maximum security, efficiency and the best customer experience.
Responsible for the organization of the Telefónica Tech Operations Centers in Cybersecurity services, he supports the teams in highly complex situations and works actively in the company's transformation initiatives, promoting the changes in people, processes and systems necessary to meet the new challenges of a company that is growing at double digits.
She has played a crucial role in the creation of Telefónica Tech developing and leading key processes for the company, managing customers and critical projects and accompanying the company in its growth in recent years. 
A fan of mathematics and physics since she was a child, she graduated in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Alcalá in Madrid and specialized in telematics.
Ester is passionate about sports, especially paddle tennis, running and skating, and painting, her most artistic side.

Juan Cobo

Juan Cobo Páez is CISO of Ferrovial. He holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the Polytechnic University of Madrid, PDD from IESE, PDD from ESADE, CISA, CISM and CRISC certifications from ISACA. With 20 years of experience in the IT sector, he has developed his professional career in companies such as Indra, IECISA or Telefónica, with special focus and great experience in the definition, deployment and evolution of frameworks, models and processes of organization and control of the IT function. Adrián Cantero

With a background spanning project execution, pre-sales, sales and leadership roles, he brings a broad perspective not only on the technical leadership needed to ensure project success, but also the commercial and strategic expertise to help customers transform their businesses.
His goal is clear: to be the technical partner of choice for any organization looking to digitally transform their business. Its “why” is very clear: technology, particularly business applications and automation, can be the key to happier employees, happier customers and business success. He firmly believes in the motto “Business First, Technology Last”.
Although the world of enterprise applications in the Microsoft ecosystem is a relatively new venture for Telefonica Tech, Craig brings with him from the UK a rich history of successful projects, use cases, customer references and sales, pre-sales and delivery methodologies that will create a great foundation for the growth of this super exciting and transformative arm of Telefonica Tech's already incredible portfolio.
Outside of the office, despite being Scottish, Craig is a keen follower of Spanish and Argentinean soccer, a fan of Futbol Club Barcelona and Newell's Old Boys, as well as Celtic in the UK. He spends most of his time exploring the amazing city of Madrid with his wife and son, who recently emigrated from the UK.

Daniel Aldea

Daniel Aldea Perona is CEO and founder of Altostratus Solutions, a company specialized in offering cloud services and digital consulting. Altostratus was born in 2010, oriented to accompany companies in their digitization process and since 2021 is part of the Telefónica group, consolidating its position as a leader in the cloud industry.
As CEO of Altostratus, he has strategically led the growth and expansion of the company, establishing key alliances and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and high quality solutions to customers. He studied Telecommunication Systems Engineering in the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and has participated in national and international projects of digitization and Smart Factory in highly demanding industrial sectors like automotive, food & beverage, pharma, chemistry, etc. He is convinced of the added value that is generated by combining talent and technology, key factors to take advantage of the opportunities offered by the fourth industrial revolution.

Vicente Segura

Head of OT&IoT Security Telefónica Tech

Vicente Segura is product manager for cybersecurity in industrial environments and IoT at Telefónica Tech. During his more than 20 years of dedication to cybersecurity he has held different positions that have allowed him to gain experience from multiple angles, starting from security consulting, through innovation and development of proprietary products, to building solutions that integrate technologies from different manufacturers, both for residential and business customers.
In his current position, he is focused on building Telefónica Tech's product and service offering for the protection of industrial environments and, in general, infrastructures that depend on cyber-physical systems, such as industrial plants, hospitals and critical infrastructures.
Attracted by computer science since he was a child, Vicente opted for Telecommunications Engineering, a degree he obtained at the Polytechnic University of Valencia.
In addition to his hobbies of gardening and agriculture, undoubtedly influenced by his roots and his father's profession, Vicente is passionate about economics and business analysis and valuation.

Manuel Cermerón

Born on 11 January, 1970 in Barcelona (Spain), Manuel Cermerón got a degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master in New Information Technologies by the Polytechnic University of Catalonia. He also has a degree in Strategic Business & People Development by ESADE University.
He started his career in 1995 as a Consultant in Design and Implementing Reengineering Processes and Automation at Accenture. In 1999 he joined Agbar Group, he held various roles in Human Resources and Organization areas. In 2009 he was appointed Organization and Human Resources Director of Agbar Group.
In 2011 he was the General Manager of Solutions & Technologies. From 2018 till 2019, he was the People, Organization and Technology Director.
In 2019 he was appointed CEO of Agbar.
Nowadays, he is CEO of Veolia Spain.
Moreover, he is member of the Board of trustees of CyD Foundation, and of Cotec Foundation.

Sonia Segade

Technology Transformation Manager Renfe

Sonia began her professional career in 2006 and has extensive experience in digital transformation projects and initiatives both in large companies in different sectors and in the consulting field. She has worked in companies such as NTT, Fundación Telefónica, Altran or Iberdrola among others with the objective of helping these companies and their clients to transform their business by taking advantage of disruptive and advanced technologies. She has focused mainly on digital transformation projects (e-commerce, digital marketing, content management, etc.), mobility and the latest technology trends (big data, IoT, AI, etc.). 
In March 2020 Sonia Segade joined Renfe Operadora as the head of Technological Transformation of Renfe Operadora and from November 2023 she will be responsible for the Digital Transformation and Technology Management.
In addition, she has been a professor of the postgraduate program “Smart Mobility: Intelligent Systems of Transport” at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and has collaborated with the University of Cantabria in the Master of “Railway Engineering”.

Sergio Padilla

An engineer by training, he began his career at Accenture. In 2009 he joined the Bank of Spain. He has extensive national and international experience, linked to cybersecurity and risks, technologies in the financial field and project management. From 2017 to 2024, he was the Head of the Risk and Information Security Unit, being Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) of the Bank of Spain. In March 2024, he was appointed Chief Data Officer (CDO) of the Bank. His background also includes (i) directing and teaching in the Executive Program in Cybersecurity, Risks and Digital Security, as well as teaching in various prestigious master's programs at Centro de Estudios Garrigues (ii) directing the Chair of Cybersecurity and AI and directing the Master's Degree in Cybersecurity Management, Ethical Hacking and Offensive Security at EIP International Business School.

Elena Gil

International Senior Executive with 25+ years of experience in the Telco industry and Digital Transformation. Board Member and Professor.
As the Business Unit Director of Artificial Intelligence & Big Data, Elena is responsible for developing and managing the P&L of this business at Telefonica Tech, helping enterprises and governments in their digital transformation by leveraging Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Blockchain and other technologies.
Previously, Elena has held prominent managerial positions in Telefonica and worked at McKinsey and Mitchell Madison Group in Madrid, São Paulo, Miami and New York. She holds a BA in Business & Economics from Deusto Business School and an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
